Shortly before sunrise, Coral princess made landfall off 'South West Point' Grand Cayman and we commenced the approach towards the anchorage position. At 0700 the port anchor was 'let go' and the ship's tenders were lowered into the water. Throughout the day a continuous tendering service was run between the ship and shore. Weather conditions: Partly cloudy but fine.
Wind: North Force 5. Temperature 26C/80F.
Noon Position: At Anchor -- Grand Cayman
Gorgeous bougainvilla near Bay Reef Resort where we snorkelled.
We opted for the Grand Cayman Biking and Snorkel adventure. This included a seven mile bike ride on the north shore. Along the way we stopped at a turtle farm and at a quaint village named Hell because of its unusual rock formations.
One of the many kitsch photo opportunities in Hell.
The rock formations which lent Hell its name.
