Aviarios del Caribe Sloth Sanctuary

Sloths belong to the Edentate family. Upon arrival at the Arroyo Inn,
we sat in the living room and watched a short video. Judy then gave
a brief scientific lecture on sloths. She and Luis are most knowledgeable
and they have many interesting stories that they willingly share with visitors.

This sloth was in the nature walk area adjacent to the Inn.

People were harvesting plantain along the banks of the Estrella River during our canoe outing.
